Sixty-seven TESDA scholars from Bataan’s first district recently received their toolkits courtesy of Sen. Pia Cayetano. They graduated from free TESDA training sponsored by the lady senator through the initiative of Bataan First District Board Member Tony Roman.

Each of the 32 Bread and Pastry Production graduates got toolkit containing electric oven and mixer. On the other hand, 35 graduates of Shielded Metal Arc Welding received welding machine each. Roman profusely thanked Cayetano saying he was just a conduit in bringing the program to the people of Bataan “I just seek help for you and Senator Pia Cayetano positively responded”, Roman told scholars during the toolkits distribution held at University of Nueva Caceres Bataan. “Makatulong sana ang natutunan ninyo sa inyong kabuhayan at tangkilin sana kayo ng inyong mga magiging customers at employers. Nandito lang kami nina Senator Pia Cayetano handang maglingkod sa abot ng aming makakaya”, the board member said.

He also thanked TESDA for the program beneficial to the people. The training of scholars was held at University of Nueva Caceres Bataan in Dinalupihan facilitated by Bataan Peninsula Educational Institution for Bread and Pastry Production and Acuna Technical Schools Inc. for Shielded Metal Arc Welding.
